We take your time very seriously and we understand that life happens…Your understanding, cooperation, and consideration for our dentists and others is appreciated.
Because of the overwhelming demand for dental appointments from Beyond Borders Dental clients, we have found it necessary to adopt the following policy regarding appointments. This is intended to assure that valuable appointments are used as effectively as possible.
Any procedure that requires an oral surgeon, sedation, and or, a team of dental specialists such as for dental implants and All-on-4’s, are done by doctors who are specially trained. These procedures are very involved so the doctor’s appointment schedule is usually blocked several hours, if not the entire day.
If you are scheduled for a complicated procedure, such as for dental implants or All-on-4’s, where special parts need to be ordered specifically for your case, we usually require a partial prepayment to reserve your appointment. We will email you an itemized invoice for any prepaid expenses in advance so you will know exactly what is required as prepayment. To read why we require prepayment in some cases, click here.
If it is necessary for you to cancel or reschedule your dental appointment for any reason, we will refund the money you prepaid for your appointment, less any special parts ordered for your case and a $25.00 cancellation fee, as long as it is at least three (3) days before your appointment is scheduled. If you cancel less than three (3) days of your appointment, you may be charged additional fees for the doctor’s time, but you may use your deposit for another appointment within the next three months.
Travel Related Expenses:
You are responsible for discretionary travel expenses, including any travel insurance, meals, and etc., none of which are covered by your payment to Beyond Borders Dental or the dental clinics in our approved program.
If you do not show up at the indicated time for your scheduled appointment, you forfeit the entire amount of prepaid money, if applicable. An appointment is considered broken if you (1) do not show up for your appointment, (2) arrive at the designated pick up point more that 15 minutes late, or (3) cancel your appointment with less that 24 hours notice.
